We are looking for a focused and meticulous supplier Development Manager to join our Tactical and Operational procurement team in Karlskrona as we are adding an additional Supplier Development Manager. 

Working closely with our international customers, the NKT site Karlskrona develop, manufacture and install efficient and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, contributing to the green transformation. 
 
A liaison between site management and vendors
As a Supplier Development Manager, you belong to a team that ensure that suppliers deliver products that meets the predetermined set of requirements. Also, you develop and supervise suppliers in order for them to meet the quality requirements. In collaboration with Global Quality Organization you are responsible for conducting audits of existing and new suppliers to enhance process standardization, waste reduction and continuous improvement processes. 

The role also includes collaboration with purchasing, engineering, quality and production to ensure that the total supplier performance is mapped and that the correct improvement actions are implemented in time.
 
Besides the above your primary tasks will be:
 
•    Performing regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with company and federal standards.
•    Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
•    Stay in regular contact with vendors to handle issues and create an atmosphere that encourages continual growth in our partnerships
•    Understand manufacturing audits, including ISO 9001 and other industry standards
•    Providing technical and quality advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
•    Serving as a liaison between our site management and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.
•    Visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures and capabilities.
 
Communicative and analytic team-oriented person
To be effective as a Supplier Development Manager within NKT, you should have good analytical and technical skills with attention to details. We are seeking a person with effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a high attention to quality in the supply chain.

Additionally, you CV comprises:
 
•    A bachelor's degree in engineering or logistics
•    Documented experience from the manufacturing industry
•    Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English, German is beneficial
•    Being interested in improvements and monitoring of quality for inbound material
