Tender and project planning for HV transmission

NKT is looking for a Planner (Tender / Project) to support tender submissions and project execution through structured planning, monitoring, and reporting within HV Solutions Karlskrona – Transmission Planning. You will work with cross-functional teams to build tender schedules, maintain project plans, and support delivery in line with planning standards and contractual requirements. Create tender schedules and maintain integrated project plans

In this role, you will develop and maintain comprehensive tender and project schedules, support planning input during RFQ and BAFO stages, and follow progress during execution. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and partners to manage interfaces, identify clashes, and support reporting and progress control. You will also contribute to improving planning tools and ways of working, while supporting junior planners with guidance and day-to-day coordination.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Create tender and project plans with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and update BAFO and execution schedules to standards
  • Monitor progress versus plan and report KPIs and deviations
  • Coordinate vendor/sub-contractor schedules into a master schedule
  • Support schedule risk analysis and project closing/lessons learned

You will work closely with the Planning Department, Project Team, Karlskrona Production Team, and Routine Test Leaders. Functional reporting is to the Director, Head of Planning; line reporting is to the Operations Head – HVS KKA G3C. Location: Chennai or Mumbai. Occasional site visits (onshore/offshore).

Structured, collaborative planner with clear communication

You enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities across tender and execution timelines. You are organised and comfortable working with detailed schedules and reporting requirements. You communicate clearly, own your tasks, and support a respectful team environment. You approach change with an open mindset and contribute ideas that improve coordination, clarity, and planning ways of working.

You also have:

  • Engineering degree (any discipline)
  • 12+ years of project planning experience (Cable / Oil   Gas / Piping / Offshore)
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Deltek Risk Analysis knowledge (preferred)
