Ensure the availability and quality of cable accessories

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that cables and accessories are available according to the testing plan. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders on new products and planning needs, perform CAD drawings for cable accessories, and order accessories from external suppliers. Your responsibility will be to:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders concerning new products and planning needs
• Ensure access to cables for HVDC projects in collaboration with project managers
• Perform CAD drawings for cable accessories
• Order cable accessories from external suppliers
• Create and maintain a structure for cables and related accessories

You will report to the Sr Manager Testing and work closely with the engineering and supply chain teams. This position is based in Alingsås, with occasional travel (5-20 days/year).

Experienced engineer with a proactive mindset

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and about 5 years of technical experience in engineering, testing, or production of cable accessories. You should have strong collaboration skills, a structured way of working, and a proactive mindset. You also have:

• Experience working in teams or projects
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, SAP, and CAD
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Negotiation skills
• Solution-oriented approach
