Translate technical knowledge into documentation

In this role, you will collaborate closely with experts in material technology, production, and R&D to develop and maintain technical documentation that supports our engineering processes. You’ll ensure consistency in style and tone, while adhering to NKT’s branding and quality standards. Your work will directly affect the efficiency and clarity of our technical operations.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications and test protocols

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate technical information

• Revise and improve existing documentation to meet updated standards

• Ensure consistency in format, tone, and branding across all documents

• Support initiatives like template development and style guide creation

You will report to the Manager of Materials and Processes and work from our Chennai office. Occasional international travel may be required for training and collaboration.

Detail-oriented communicator with a commitment to clarity

We are looking for a person who is structured and thrives in a collaborative environment. You communicate effectively and are motivated to learn and grow. You enjoy working with diverse teams and translating technical complexity into accessible content.

You also have:

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 5–8 years of experience in technical writing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with Windchill

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials,Familiarity with LIMS and Swedish language skills
