As Manager Production Engineering, you will be part of a global company supporting the green transition and contributing to a more sustainable energy future. You will lead a skilled team, help implement new technologies and work closely with production, maintenance, quality, purchasing, development and engineering to support top-quality production. Lead and develop production engineering capabilities

In this role, you will ensure that production has the right methods, equipment, processes and technical support to achieve high efficiency, quality and safety. You will lead a dedicated production engineering team, develop competencies, and support the introduction of new technologies and processes. Your work will be central to optimizing flows, increasing capacity, solving technical challenges and contributing to industrialization projects across the business.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Lead and coach the production engineering team to ensure continuous competence development
  • Drive improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Develop and optimize production processes, instructions and equipment
  • Lead and participate in industrialization and improvement projects
  • Conduct root cause analyses and ensure preventive actions
  • You will work closely with multiple internal interfaces and report directly to the Senior Manager Production. The role is based in Alingsås and may include occasional travel.

You navigate both immediate operational challenges and long‑term development needs, and you are motivated by creating structure, driving change and enabling continuous improvements.

You also have:

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in production technology, mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production‑related environment
  • Experience from working with Lean production
  • Leadership experience in a technical or production setting
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • SAP experience
