
Support life cycle assessments and carbon accounting
NKT is expanding its sustainability capabilities and is now looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join the LCA Center of Excellence at our Global Competency Centre in Chennai. In this role, you will work with life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint calculations, and environmental data to support projects, tenders, and sustainability initiatives across the Grid Solutions business line. You will be part of a global organisation contributing to the energy transition through data-driven environmental assessments. Create and apply life cycle assessments for energy projects
As Sustainability Analyst, you will be part of the LCA Center of Excellence and contribute to building and maintaining a knowledge base for the environmental footprint of NKT’s products. You will apply LCA methodology to support tenders, projects, and internal decision-making, while ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with recognised standards.

The role is based at the Global Competency Centre (G3C) in Chennai, India. Limited international travel may be required. The position reports functionally to Group Sustainability and operationally within the G3C setup.

You are motivated by contributing to sustainability improvements through analysis and collaboration. You work in a structured, methodical manner, pay attention to detail, and are comfortable translating complex data into clear messages for different stakeholders. You enjoy working across functions in an international environment and take responsibility for your own tasks while collaborating closely with others.
