Oversee HV project execution across Southern Europe

Grid Solutions within NKT is growing its operations in Southern Europe and is now recruiting a Head of Project Execution, Installation and Resource Management. The role brings together project execution, installation management and resource planning for high-voltage projects, from sales handover to customer handover. You will join a global company supporting the green transition through reliable power infrastructure, while shaping how projects are delivered in a growing regional hub. Coordinate project execution, installation and resource planning

In this role, you are accountable for the overall setup and coordination of project execution, installation management and resource management within Grid Solutions Southern Europe Hub. You ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed quality, cost and time expectations, while developing teams, processes and interfaces to handle increasing volume and complexity. The position combines operational oversight with organizational development in close collaboration with regional and central stakeholders.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Manage and develop teams within project execution, installation management and resource management
• Define organizational structure, capacity planning and use of internal and external resources
• Oversee execution and installation of HV projects from handover to completion
• Coordinate interfaces with commercial, engineering, supply chain, finance and QHSSE functions
• Monitor KPIs related to delivery, cost competitiveness, customer satisfaction and sustainability

The role reports to the Head of Grid Solutions Southern Europe and is based in Barcelona (Spain) or Esposende (Portugal). Regular travel within Southern Europe is expected.

You communicate in a clear and respectful way across cultures and disciplines, and you are comfortable taking decisions within an international matrix organization. You value collaboration, are attentive to people development, and stay focused when priorities compete.

You also have:

• Higher education in engineering, business administration or a comparable field
• Experience from execution and installation of high-voltage projects
• Background working with installation subcontractors
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese or French is considered a plus)
