Develop HSE audits, reporting and safety culture

Are you interested in shaping how health, safety and environmental performance is measured and improved across an international organisation? As Group HSE Manager, Audit & Reporting, you will work closely with teams across Europe to develop audit and reporting frameworks that support NKT’s journey towards zero injuries and healthy working conditions. Advance HSE governance, auditing and reporting excellence

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining HSE audit and reporting frameworks across NKT locations. You will support HSE maturity development, ensure compliance with internal requirements, and provide valuable insights through data analysis, audits and reporting. Working across functions and sites, you will contribute to creating consistent HSE standards, governance processes and continuous improvements throughout the organisation.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Manage and develop the HSE audit framework and audit plans across NKT locations
  • Execute audits, communicate findings and follow up on corrective actions
  • Coordinate HSE maturity roadmap activities, including safety culture initiatives
  • Collect, analyse and report HSE data, KPIs, dashboards and incident trends
  • Facilitate HSE Council activities and contribute to global HSE standards implementation

The position reports to the Director, Head of Group HSE. The role is based in Europe, and can be based in any of our office locations, and includes approximately 30–50% travel to manufacturing locations, primarily across Europe.

Experienced HSE professional with collaborative approach

You bring a structured approach and like working with people from different teams and backgrounds. You communicate clearly, build constructive working relationships and approach challenges with a practical mindset. You are comfortable taking initiative and working with stakeholders across a range of organizational levels. In addition, you have a genuine commitment to health, safety and environmental improvement and appreciate the value of accurate reporting, governance and continuous development.

You also have:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Safety, Quality, Production, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of HSE management systems including ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
  • Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 45001
  • 5–8 years of experience from a technical or industrial environment
  • Experience establishing and managing HSE reporting processes
  • Experience with business intelligence tools is an advantage
