Our net zero targets

Our near-term targets were first validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2022, and in 2024 we achieved re‑validation along with approval of our long-term net-zero target. NKT's climate targets are aligned with the 1.5°C pathway. 

The Scope 3 target covers Category 1 (upstream value chain emissions) and Category 11 (use-phase emissions), which together accounted for 99% of Scope 3 emissions in the base year.
